The Annual All-Night Rock.A.Thon, November 11-12
We had 31 students last year and raised almost $2,000! Well, this year we’re aiming for 50 students and $3,000 for youth group trips and events. Therefore we need every 7-12 grader to come and bring 1-2 friends! So tell your friends they have to come, grab a rocking chair for each of you, bring a pillow and blanket, get as many donations as you can (checks made out to “PCC” with your name in the memo line) and show up at 6:45 pm on Friday, November 11.
This year there will be prizes! A $25 gift card for the most donations turned in by the time we start, $10 gift cards for the next 5 highest totals by start time, and $1 for every 1st time Rock.A.Thon guest you bring.
You’ll start rocking at 7:00 pm and rock for 12 hours with a 5 minute break every hour on the hour. There will be tons of food, crazy games, at least one excellent movie, video games, and lots of surprises.
Late, Breaking News…the Young Adults are going to plan and run part or all of the Rock.A.Thon so you know it’s going to be incredible and the best one ever! Oh yeah, you stop rocking at 7:00 am on Saturday, November 12.
During the school year, Sunday School classes begin at 9:30 a.m. During the summer months of July and August we take a break and do not meet. All teachers and childcare workers have taken child safety training and been approved by the board to work with children.
